A LITTLE BIT ABOUT SPOTTED WAVES

It’s Ry here (the guy in the middle), the founder of Spotted Waves.

I caught my first wave in Cornwall when I was 11 — and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since. But for years, I was stuck in jobs that didn’t really feel like me. Life was fine, but something was missing.

I wanted to create something meaningful, grounded in the things I love: surfing, little adventures, time with friends and family. More than that, I wanted to build an exchange — where you get something that lasts, that feels like you, and together we do a little bit of good.

That’s how Spotted Waves was born: surf-inspired clothing that supports our oceans. We use durable and sustainable materials, and donate at least 10% to ocean-centric projects — with the community helping choose where it goes. Our first one’s happening soon: a beach clean-up right here in Cornwall.

A few core values were important to me to guide everything we do:

- We’re community driven — you help guide what we create and who we support, so you can actually be connected to where your help goes.

- We give back 10% of every sale — or more to ocean and community projects.

- We use durable, sustainable materials

- We’re transparent about our practices and supply chain

As we grow and reinvest, we plan to shift more and more of our profits into the projects our community chooses.

Thanks for being here, and for being part of what we’re building.

— Ry
